Advancements in renewable energy technologies, development of new policies,
and an increasing trend in subsidies over the last decade have made the utilization of renewable energy sources competitive and affordable.
This project seeks to address the financial analysis, site analysis, and communication and engagement concerns associated with developing a
wind farm for a site in Rockingham, Virginia.The vision of this project is to produce a prospectus on the viability of the Cow Knob Ridgeline
site as a Wind Farm.Along with developing the prospectus, the team members of this project will attempt to revitalize interest in the site, both
public and private, through extensive outreach and communication with potential industry partners..
